The Cottage, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, The Cotswolds

The Cottage is a beautiful Grade II listed property situated on one of the most historic streets in Cirencester, the capital of the Cotswolds. Ideal for a couple or a group of four friends, it is full of character yet finished in a modern, comfortable style, complete with a courtyard garden and off-road parking for one car.

Accommodation

The lounge provides a warm and inviting space to relax after a day out, featuring comfortable seating, a smart TV, DVD player, Sonos speaker and a selection of books and games. Exposed beams and an original stone fireplace with a log burner enhance the character, while a small window overlooking the quiet street offers a charming spot to watch village life pass by.

At the rear of the cottage, the bright, fully equipped kitchen includes an electric oven, integrated microwave, gas hob, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine. A dining table beside the window creates a lovely setting for meals. The kitchen opens out to a private, enclosed garden—perfect for enjoying sunshine and alfresco dining. Inside the hallway, there is a cloakroom with a WC and a staircase leading to the first floor. Here, guests will find a peaceful double bedroom with shuttered windows and storage, along with a modern bathroom featuring underfloor heating, a walk-in shower and WC. A separate office space with a large armchair and its own walk-in shower provides a quiet retreat.

The second double bedroom is accessed through a low doorway and a narrow spiral staircase from the landing, giving the room a tucked-away, cosy feel. With built-in wardrobes and an exposed beam, it is a charming and intimate space filled with character.
