High Point Holiday House and Boat House provide an exceptional retreat along the shores of Fleet Bay, close to the picturesque village of Gatehouse of Fleet. With their unique positioning on a hillside, The Beach House and The Boat House offer guests breathtaking views of the bay and the beautiful surrounding countryside.
The Beach House, which sleeps 10, is a superbly equipped family holiday home just 50 metres from Sandgreen Beach. Its elevated position provides stunning sea views. Designed with families in mind, the open-plan ground floor features a spacious dining area, a well-equipped kitchen complete with a Rangemaster stove, and a cosy lounge with a wood-burning stove. Entertainment options include a smart TV, a DVD player, and a selection of DVDs. Upstairs, a second fully equipped kitchen adds convenience.
The house features four beautifully appointed bedrooms. On the ground floor, two bedrooms have super king-size beds that can be converted into twins, while the third offers a king-size bed. Two of these bedrooms have en-suites, and the third has access to a family bathroom. Upstairs, a double bedroom with an en-suite is accompanied by two lounges. One lounge features a cathedral window framing bay views, while the other opens onto a balcony that faces the sunset. An additional 5ft sofa bed with a memory foam mattress is available in the upstairs lounge.
The large, family-friendly garden includes a pétanque pitch, sandpit, climbing frame, swings, and a spacious lawn. Outdoor living is enhanced by a southwest-facing patio, multiple seating areas, a Weber BBQ, and an outdoor shower room with hot and cold water, perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach.
The Boat House, designed for privacy and breathtaking sea views, is a charming retreat for two. Guests are welcomed through double glass doors into an open-plan living space. The kitchen is equipped with a Neff oven, hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and a Tassimo coffee machine or cafetiere. The living area features a smart TV, a Dimplex electric fire, and efficient heating, creating a cosy atmosphere. A small dining area is available both indoors and outdoors.
The downstairs cloakroom includes a W.C., washbasin, washing machine, and tumble dryer. Upstairs, the bright bedroom features Velux windows perfect for stargazing, a super king-size bed with luxurious cotton bedding, a goose down duvet, and dressing gowns. The en-suite includes a shower-over-bath, heated towel rail, and plush towels.
Outside, the Boat House boasts a dedicated deck with glass balustrades, a patio with outdoor seating, and a Weber BBQ, making it an ideal spot for relaxing while enjoying sunsets over the estuary. The Boat House is also dog-friendly.
