This fabulous cottage is tastefully furnished and sleeps up to five people, or up to seven people including the annexe room. The spacious cottage is filled with light and decorated in gorgeous pastel colours and French oak flooring. The delightful open-plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area will suit all your needs. The lounge has comfy seating, a TV with Freeview, and a DVD player. French doors open onto a wonderful patio area with garden furniture, perfect for alfresco dining. The well-equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking up a storm and includes a fridge-freezer, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, and microwave. A downstairs cloakroom is also available.
The staircase from the hall leads to a large double bedroom with a king-size bed and a fully tiled en suite bathroom. There is also a large treble bedroom with three single beds, a TV, and a fully tiled en suite shower room. Both bedrooms are elegantly furnished with antique pine furniture. The additional annexe room adjoins Le Faucon and includes a twin en suite bedroom with a TV.
The closest supermarket is in the parish of St Peters, which is 10 minutes away by car. The bordering parish of Forest boasts the Mallard Cinema, and a lovely restaurant is nearby. The closest restaurant is The Imperial Hotel, which overlooks Rocquaine Bay, and a 5-minute drive will take you to Longfrie Inn.
The area offers a range of activities, including cycling, diving, kayaking, surfing, and bird watching. Further afield in Guernsey, you can visit attractions such as Fermain Bay and the Beach Cafe, Sausmarez Manor, Castle Cornet, the German Occupation Museum, the German Underground Hospital, the Maritime Museum, and Victor Hugo's House.
Le Faucon provides an excellent base for exploring Torteval and the wider Guernsey area, offering a comfortable and elegant retreat for families and groups.
