Kingfisher Yurt, designed for two, is a circular Turkoman-style yurt constructed from coppiced sweet chestnut and ash, all crafted by hand. A transparent roof wheel offers stunning daytime sky views and nighttime stargazing opportunities. Inside, the yurt features a spacious king-size bed, with additional space for two camp beds if needed. Relax in your private wild garden, complete with a wood-fired hot tub and a hammock in the dappled shade. A cast-iron wood-burning stove keeps the space warm, complemented by a cosy sofa and a dining table for two. The private kitchen is equipped with an electric 2-ring hob, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, and all the necessary utensils, pots, and pans you might need.
Hazel Tree Cabin, also accommodating two, is situated beside a chalk stream and provides a cosy escape with a king-size bed, kitchenette and indoor/outdoor dining options. The veranda is perfect for relaxing with a book in the hammock, sipping bubbly in the freestanding bath, or unwinding in the private wood-fired hot tub.
Badger's Bower, inspired by Britain’s historical 'tin tabernacles,' is a hand-built hideaway offering a romantic woodland retreat for two. It features a king-size bed, a kitchen, and a dining area. Enjoy a soak in the freestanding bath with views of the surrounding woods, or relax in the outdoor wood-fired hot tub under the stars.
The accommodation is designed to be eco-friendly and have minimal impact on the surrounding woodland and chalk stream, featuring amenities like hot and cold running water, electricity, and included bed linen and towels. The wood-fired hot tub is available for an additional cost, payable upon arrival: £70 for a 2-night mid-week stay, £115 for a 4-night mid-week stay, and £90 for weekends, which includes the initial wood supply. Additional wood can be purchased if needed.
