Atholl Cottage offers self-catering holiday accommodation at Aldclune, Perthshire. This holiday cottage is between Pitlochry and Blair Atholl and is ideally located for exploring the beautiful Scottish county of Perthshire. It offers high-quality accommodation in the Scottish Highlands for five people and is situated in peaceful but not isolated surroundings.
Upstairs there is one twin bedroom and one double bedroom with a single bed. There is a bathroom with bath, electric shower and shaver point.
Downstairs in the holiday cottage, you will find a comfortably furnished and spacious sitting room with sofa bed, log fire, satellite TV and DVD player, a cloakroom with WC, washbasin & shower point, a fully equipped kitchen with dining area & a “Mud” room with shower cubicle, deep sink, freezer, tumble dryer and plenty of space for fishing tackle, golf, clubs, skis, walking boots and wellies.
Atholl Cottage is set in its own grounds and has plenty of room for children to play. There is also ample parking.
A starter pack of logs for the open fire is supplied and more can be purchased at the cottage.
Aldclune is a pretty village in Perth, on the banks of the River Garry. Pitlochry lies five miles to the south of Aldclune and offers a wide range of facilities including interesting shops, good restaurants and bars & the famous Pitlochry Festival Theatre.
At Blair Atholl, about two miles north of the cottage, there is a Post Office, two food stores, the Atholl Arms Hotel, a working watermill and the magnificent Blair Castle.
The location is also ideal for those who enjoy spending time in the great outdoors. Aldclune is at the edge of the Cairngorms National Park. Here you will find a plethora of walks, cycle routes, trails and tracks to keep the whole family entertained.
