New Mills is a self catering cottage set in 19 acres of beautiful grounds in rural Northumberland. It is an ideal location for fishing, golfing and family holidays in the heart of the Border Country.
New Mills is a "home from home" and offers everything you require for your stay. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would expect including washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, larder fridge and freezer. The lounge has a Freeview TV, and DVD player. All bed linen and towels are provided, as is Wi-Fi.
New Mills overlooks the gentle waters of the River Whiteadder; a tributary to the River Tweed. Naturally, being right on the Scottish border, there are some great places to visit in the surrounding Border Towns of Berwickshire and Northumberland, with Edinburgh & Newcastle being a 45-minute train ride away, approximately 1hr 15min by car. For the golfers among you, there are some quality courses. Muirfield and Gullane courses are a little way north and just a short distance away is an Open Championship, Regional Qualifying course, at Goswick.
