The second is a double, looking east across to the attractive seventeenth-century Castle Governor’s House. The third also faces east and can be set up as a double or twin room. Both these front rooms are served by the newly equipped Victorian bathroom just across the landing.

The sunny west-facing garden, enclosed by brick walls, is well planted with mature shrubs, climbers and ground-cover, including a fine Amelanchier Canadensis, with white blossom in spring and golden leaves in autumn.
