The cottage has a spacious open plan living room with two inviting sofas. They surround an electric wood burning stove and provide a relaxing place to rest at any time of day. The dining area can seat six and the kitchen is fully equipped. On the same level is a beautifully appointed master bedroom with a luxury 1200 pocket sprung king-sized bed.
Outside is a private south-facing terrace with BBQ and table/chairs. From here you can enjoy the views that overlook the tranquil Midford Valley where local wildlife, including deer and barn owls, can be seen.
The View has also been awarded the ‘Cyclists Welcome’ and ‘Walkers Welcome’ awards, with secure cycle storage and facilities for drying clothes.
There are many delightful countryside walks and cycle routes on your doorstep, including the newly opened tunnel route Sustrans Route 24. There are also two excellent independent pubs within 10 minutes walk, both of which serve delicious home-cooked food at lunchtime and in the evening.
