The living room has been tastefully decorated and has 2 leather couches, one of which doubles up as a bed-settee and a very comfortable leather reclining chair with footstool. The TV has built-in Freeview and there is a DVD player, mini hi-fi system and an iPod docking station.
The fully fitted modern kitchen is equipped with everything you would expect and perhaps even a little more. If you wish to eat in and prepare your own meals you will find all the tools you need, even a fully stocked herb and spice rack. The kitchen has a microwave, dishwasher and a washing/drying machine. The dining area has patio doors that open out onto a private, fenced, flagstone patio area with a picnic bench.
The Peedie Hoose is ideally located in the heart of the West Mainland making it an ideal base for all visitors whether wishing to visit the many ancient archaeological sites, bird watch, fish or to simply relax and get away from it all. The town of Stromness is only 15 minutes away and the capital of Orkney, Kirkwall is around 20 minutes away. Both towns are perfect for exploring and have scenic harbours, museums, shops, bars and restaurants. Brilliant attractions to visit include:
