Accommodation is all on one level, but there are 2 steps up to the decking.
Outside there is parking for 2/3 cars, a terrace with covered decks on 2 sides, patio furniture, level grassed area, ideal for the garden games included.
Birchlea provides a modern alternative to a holiday cottage. Cosy in winter and perfect for summer living with verandas and level grassed surround, ideal for the garden games included. Facing south and west it is well situated for the sun. Well-equipped for self-catering, or there are 2 seafront pubs with outdoor seating (1 with garden, ideal for children) only 10-15 mins stroll down the hill.
Birchlea Lodge is a slow-grown Norwegian pine log cabin, so is solidly built and finished to a high standard. Modern interior, stylishly furnished with a fully equipped kitchen and with full gas central heating.
Although it is close to the village, it is in a peaceful and sheltered location. Verandas ideal for all-day sun and for watching the sun setting over the Galloway Hills.
