Redburn House at Lochmaddy on the Isle of North Uist provides self-catering accommodation in an apartment and annexe.
The apartment comprises of 5 bedrooms - a twin, 3 double rooms and master/family room with king-size double and a single raised platform bed (approx 4'), which can have an additional mattress under to give additional kids accommodation: or just be used as a great camp! Sunrise Apartment also has a lounge with a sofa bed and very large kitchen/dining room boasting a superb 2.6-metre marble-topped dining table as centre-piece.
The Sunrise Apartment is superbly equipped for large family groups, with all linens and towels (even large beach towels) included in the rates. There is a well-stocked bookcase and quality games, as well as a TV with DVD and CD player, with a selection of discs and films. Also included is a Hi-Fi with a large selection of varied music tapes.
Outside in the garden at Redburn House, games can be played, and 8 and 6 seater picnic tables and benches are ideally located for summer meals overlooking the small lochan and fields at the rear of the property.
The Apartment is perfect for larger groups who wish to take in the beautiful views available from the first and second floors of Redburn House and who wish to have a fully equipped home from home where to explore Lochmaddy and the Islands.
The Studio is a split level annexe that can accommodate 2 people in a Swiss-style double bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area in an attached conservatory.
The annexe is well equipped with a TV/DVD player, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave & fridge/freezer.

The bar and restaurant at The Lochmaddy Hotel have a large set and off the card menu. The small bar has a pool table and Sky television, and also offers its own bar menu.
The Taigh Chearsabhagh Visitor centre has three art galleries, a cafe and shop selling the local craft, artwork and books in both English and Gaelic.
Close to the visitor centre is a gift shop, formerly the Wee Havit Shop. They have it - local crafts gifts and souvenirs.
