Glenview Cottage is an award-winning holiday home at Kirk Yetholm. It can sleep up to 8 people and is a fantastic base for those who want to explore Roxburghshire & the Scottish Borders. The cottage is over 160 years old and has been tastefully renovated and extended over the years, providing comfortable and well-appointed accommodation.
We aim to provide guests with a place to stay that feels like a home from home. Care and attention has been paid to every aspect, ensuring the property is full of charm and character, whilst offering modern amenities.
French doors from both the living room and the kitchen lead onto a sunny patio area. This has a table, chairs & BBQ/firepit, perfect for outdoor entertaining. Steps lead to a raised lawned area, which is perfect for those who have children or dogs. The garden is fully enclosed to ensure everyone stays on the premises!
This pretty village is set on the edge of the stunning Cheviot Hills, just a few miles from the English Border & Northumberland National Park. The village is perfectly placed for exploring the Scottish Borders and the northern part of England.
The Scottish Borders have a wide range of countryside, from the dramatic hills to the rolling fields, and several small towns, all with their own long histories. Kelso and Jedburgh are the two nearest to Yetholm. Kelso probably being the prettiest of all the borders towns, with its almost gallic cobbled town square, a ruined abbey, and impressive bridge across the River Tweed.
The Borders is world-renowned for its fishing with some of the world’s best salmon and trout fishing all within a short distance. Permits, lessons by international fishermen and ghillies all easily organised. Shooting (clays or others) and hunting are all available virtually on our doorstep.
