Close at hand to the holiday home are Axmouth, Beer and Branscombe; Lyme Regis is 12 minutes and Sidmouth 15 minutes by car. The area is an excellent centre for walking, sailing, fishing, golf and sub-aqua and for day-trips eastwards into the Thomas Hardy country of West Dorset and westwards towards the Cathedral City of Exeter, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Torbay and the Dart Valley.
