Oaker Farm Cottages are situated in a beautiful peaceful location on Oaker Farm outside of Hope, Derbyshire in the beautiful Peak District National Park. You are assured of a peaceful, tranquil and stunning location in which to unwind and rest or alternatively step out and explore open countryside straight from the door.
We have spent many years making Oaker Farm into what we feel is a little haven, and we hope that you will enjoy it as much as we do.
These holiday cottages are owner-managed. We live on site and we are committed to providing our guests with 100% satisfaction. We have 3 cottages and 1 shepherd hut to choose from.
The Old Dairy:
One bedroomed cosy cottage comfortably furnished offering superb views over the surrounding countryside. The cottage annexes to our farmhouse and benefits from a private garden and patio area and has a lobby, hallway, bathroom with electric shower, WC, fitted kitchen with dining table, bedroom with double bed and upstairs is the sitting room affording the panoramic views down the valley.
Winhill Cottage:
Two bedroomed tastefully furnished barn conversion benefitting from its peaceful rural position and is an ideal place to unwind and relax. The holiday cottage is all on one level and has a spacious open plan lounge/dining room with feature wood-burning stove, well-equipped kitchen, double bedroom, twin bedded bedroom, bathroom with WC and shower over bath, own patio area. (There are two internal steps in this cottage).
Losehill Cottage:
A two bedroomed cosy comfortable barn conversion with stunning views and a patio area. The holiday cottage has a well-equipped kitchen with dining area, lounge with feature wood-burning stove, hallway, bathroom with WC and shower over bath, twin bedded room and on the first floor, one double bedded room.
Haddy’s Hut:
A spacious, airy and bright bespoke handcrafted shepherd's hut designed and built to a high standard benefitting from modern-day comforts including a warming woodburning stove, en-suite bathroom with fluffy towels, handmade fully equipped kitchen with full size hob and a single oven with grill, comfy patio furniture where you can read the paper or your favourite book and if it becomes chilly light the fire pit. To bring it all up to the 21st century there is WiFi, a combined TV and DVD player, and underfloor heating. The hut offers everything you should need, a rural retreat for all seasons. Haddy's Hut is no ordinary hut, much thought and planning has gone into the design to ensure a truly special holiday experience. Whilst all of us need from time to time to escape the hustle and bustle of day to day life it's still nice to have certain home comforts to hand. No stumbling on a dark wet night to find the toilet, have a shower or to cook your evening meal. It is all inside this hut. The hut sleeps 2 in total.
