Bailey End is a town house that can sleep up to 9 people. It is located in the lovely market town of Bishop’s Castle in Shropshire and still retains much of its original features. The house offers self catering accommodation which combines an old ambiance with all the mod cons of a modern property.
Inside is an open plan kitchen/diner that is fully equipped with electric hob and oven, a dishwasher, a microwave and a fridge/freezer. It also has a large airer for drying clothes. There is a spacious living area which has a wood burning stove and TV. There are 5 bedrooms and two bathrooms. Outside there is a mews courtyard and a garden/field which is suitable for games.

A spacious living room, with inglenook fireplace containing a powerful wood burning stove, chairs and sofas and a television.
A kitchen/dining room, with a fitted kitchen, electric hob and oven, a dishwasher, a microwave and a fridge/freezer. It also has a large airer for drying clothes.
Five bedrooms: Bedrooms A and B have double beds; Bedroom C has two 3ft beds; Bedroom D has a 4ft double bed (narrower than the usual 4ft 6", but possible for very good friends) plus a 3ft bed; Bedroom E is very small and has one 3ft bed.
Two bathrooms: the upstairs bathroom has a bath, basin and lavatory; the downstairs bathroom has a shower, lavatory and a basin, and also a washer/dryer for clothes.
Bailey End is surrounded by many areas for walking such as the Long Mynd, Offa's Dyke, Stiperstones and the Corndon hills. The town has all the amenities you would need as well as many places to eat. The towns of Ludlow and Shrewsbury are close by and have castles and other attractions. If you want to go further afield, Lake Bala (50 miles to the north west) is the largest natural lake in Wales, with fishing, horse riding and water sports, including windsurfing, sailing and canoeing.
