Apple Loft Cottage is a converted stone barn sleeping two people. It is attached to the owners charming 17th century Grade II listed Devon long house. Situated to the south of the Dartmoor National Park within four acres of gardens and meadow, the River Dart and South Devon Railway run behind the property.
On the ground floor you will find a sitting/dining-room with beamed vaulted ceiling, sofa and captains chair, TV/DVD player and wood-burner effect electric stove. The Shaker style kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher. Downsatirs you will also find a shower room fully tiled with contemporary corner shower unit. The lovely king size bedroom is on the first floor.
Outside there is parking for one car, a private court yard with patio furniture & shared use of the gardens and grounds.
Whilst set in a quiet rural location, Apple Loft is minutes from the A38 and one mile from the quaint town of Buckfastleigh. Ashburton, known as the 'The Gateway to the Moor' is three miles away. This is an ideal base from which to explore both the Dartmoor National Park and the South Hams area of Devon.
