Lamorna Glamping offers self-catering accommodation in three safari tents. They are set in an 8-acre field close to the village of Lamorna, near Penzance in Cornwall. This is a great location close to Lands’ End and St Ives.

Each safari tent can accommodate 6 people in a double, twin and double den bed. They are fully equipped for self-catering, with kitchen, wood burner for heating and with oven for cooking, Belfast sinks with hot and cold water, 2 ring gas stove with grill, BBQ for alfresco dining.

There are many things to do in the local area, including visiting one of the many sandy and unspoilt beaches. Many guests enjoy taking a trip to Lands’ End where there are gift shops, entertainment and a craft centre. St Ives is another popular place where guests can visit its famous art galleries and studios.

The fishing village of Mousehole is located within easy reach and is the perfect place to go if you want to walk along the coastal footpath. As well as walking in the local area, guests can go fishing, horse riding and play golf.

Hill Of Oaks is nestled on the slopes of an ancient woodland and offers self-catering accommodation. 

We offer self-catering properties including cottages, apartments, glamping pods, Safari Tents and more. Short or long breaks are available, each with spectacular views over Lake Windermere. Guests have access to all park facilities including the use of jetties and Wi-Fi.

Dogs are welcome in selected properties for a small fee, please enquire when booking.

Hill of Oaks Park is idyllically located on the southeast side of Lake Windermere and boasts one mile of exclusive lake frontage. There is a range of facilities for guests to enjoy including six jetties and multiple slipways for boat launching, bistro and farm shop, laundry, shower and toilet block (for touring guests), playground and dog park.

The park is conservation-orientated with managed woodlands providing a natural environment for a rich biodiversity of animals, birds, flora and fauna. We have various bird stations and owl boxes throughout the site. The Lake District National Park is a cyclist's haven and there is an abundance of cycleways and bridleways which you can choose to explore during your stay. If you enjoy walking, then the Lake District will delight you with its array of gentle walks, long-distance rambles and steep climbs - most of which boast some of the most spectacular views in the country.
