This 5-Star cottage is perfect for a tranquil and relaxing break in a rural setting. The cottage sleeps up to 4 people and great for families, with a large children’s playhouse next to the cottage by a lawned played area.

The ground level cottage has been tastefully converted to blend period features with modern touches. Throughout the property, the colour scheme is cream and light floral patterns with touches of natural wood. You can unwind in the spacious lounge/diner which comes with a toasty open fire and Bose sound system. Rustle up some delicious meals in the fully-equipped kitchen which includes a coffee pod machine, washing machine and dryer.

Two lovely bedrooms are available. The main double room boasts stunning views over the Wolds and comes with a fabulous wrought iron bed. A second bedroom has a twin bed. Both rooms included bed linen. A modern bathroom comes with a brand new double jacuzzi bath.

Outside there is a lawned garden area with garden furniture and a BBQ for al fresco dining.

The cottage is in a great position for visiting a range of famous attractions in the area, including Castle Howard, Eden Camp, Flamingoland and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. You can catch the train to nearby Pickering and savour the fabulous views on the way. The popular coastal town of Whitby is accessible by car and home to a scenic harbour, lovely pubs, good restaurants and a world-famous Abbey.

On the ground floor is a lovely open plan living space with gorgeous beams and wooden floors. The living area comes with an electric wood burner, Freeview TV, DVD player and a CD player. There is also a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with a range of appliances: electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A separate WC is also available. The ground floor comes with underfloor heating.

The first floor has 2 bedrooms available: a double and a twin room. Both rooms come with Freeview TV. The shower room comes with a walk-in shower, WC and a heated towel rail. All bed linen and towels are provided.
