Old Town Hall Cottage, Wadsworth, Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire (Sleeps 1-4)


Old Town Hall Cottage is a picturesque early 17th Century Grade II listed two bedroomed country cottage in the heart of Old Town village, near to the tourist township of Hebden Bridge in the South Pennines. The holiday cottage has recently been renovated, retaining many original features including an open fireplace, mullioned windows and original oak beams, and has been comfortably furnished to accommodate 4 people.

Accommodation
Our charming cottage comes with everything you need for an unforgettable holiday in a great location. We even offer a delightful welcome food pack, fresh fruit, flowers and complimentary toiletries.

The cosy lounge is full of character, including a flat-screen smart TV and DVD player, Bluetooth CD microsystem and comfy seating. The kitchen/diner has new units and appliances for 2021, perfect for the enthusiastic home-cook! Appliances include an electric oven, gas hob, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle & toaster & breakfast table & chairs.

A fabulous new bathroom suite has a luxurious walk-in shower and underfloor heating. Two lovely bedrooms are available, a double and bunk room. We provide quality Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels.

There is private parking for 2 cars alongside the holiday cottage garden and a small patio area with table and chairs, perfect for al fresco dining on a sunny day.

Visiting Wadsworth & Exploring West Yorkshire
The village has 2 public houses selling traditional beers and providing home-cooked pub food, both are within 0.5 miles of the cottage. Set in spectacular scenery, the cottage is an excellent base for walking and is only a 15-minute drive away from historic Haworth, the home of the Brontes, and the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, the original location of 'The Railway Children'. Further attractions to visit include:

Heptonstall Museum.
Hardcastle Crags.
Boulsworth Hill.
Rochdale Canal.

This self catering cottage is in the heart of Bronte Country, South Pennines, built in the 1830s, recently renovated surrounded by open fields, extensive views both front and rear.

Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms - 1 double and 1 twin, bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Instant hot water. Large lounge with original beams and corner cupboard, stone fireplace with living flame gas fire, TV, DVD, radio, kitchen / dining room with beams, gas fire, electric cooker, microwave, fridge / freezer, automatic washing machine, table and chairs for 4. Gas central heating throughout. Paved area to front with seat and superb views. Off road parking for 1 car. All linen, towels and tablecloths provided.

A short walk to Moors and Worth Valley Railway, handy for Haworth (home of the Brontes) Hebden Bridge, Bradford, Yorkshire Dales and Lancashire.
