Goose Nest House is a stunning five-bedroom lakeside holiday home with wall to wall glass overlooking Somerford Lagoon sailing lake in the beautiful Lower Mill Estate set within a 550-acre private nature reserve. Furnished to a high standard, with a double-height vaulted ceiling in the living area. Spacious en suite master bedroom with access to the lakeside decking on the ground floor, further two twin bedroom as well as a family bathroom and separate shower. There is also a child's bunk room. To the first floor can be found kitchen/dining & living area with wood burning stove & access to the large, glass-fronted balcony. The fifth bedroom can be found to the mezzanine level with its own en suite shower room. Allocated parking space, Wi-Fi and spa use. Sleeps 10 (up to 8 adults and 2 children).

The award winning onsite spa has 2 heated swimming pools, one outdoor pool, sauna, steam room and pampering treatments for guests. On the estate are also several good quality fishing lakes with carp, pike, tench and other fresh water fish for both the novice and experienced angler. Built in Cotswold style, the cottage has a southerly rear aspect with uninterrupted views across the 74 acre Somerford Lagoon, the largest lake on the estate. The decking provides a wonderful location for al fresco meals from breakfast to dinner, steps lead down from the gated decking area to a pontoon onto the lake and a private grassed area.

The river Thames flows 20 yards from the front door and the Thames path leads to the source of the Thames near the village of Kemble. The village of Somerford Keynes is a short walk away where the local pub offers freshly prepared home cooked food and local cask ales. The surrounding area offers a network of lakeside paths and bridleways to explore hidden countryside on foot or by bike. Many fine traditional pubs, cafes and hotels are found in local Cotswold villages offering delicious homemade food and speciality beverages.

The historic town of Cirencester is a short drive away and beautiful towns and villages such as Bath, Stow-on-the-wold, Bibury, Bourton-on-the-Water, Broadway and Cheltenham are all within easy access.
