The Paddocks Barns are a pair of newly converted self-catering holiday homes in Norfolk. The accommodation has been finished to a very high standard and is ideal for breaks away with family and friends. Both of the barns are mirror images of each other and can be let separately or together. The holiday barns are in a quiet rural location close to the market town of North Walsham, within easy reach of all that the beautiful area of North Norfolk has to offer.

About Woodpecker's Nest & Squirrels Drey

Each of the self-catering holiday homes can sleep up to 4 people, making a total of 8 if both properties are let together. They are both on the ground level. Both barns consist of:

An open-plan living/dining area with leather sofas and oak furniture.

32-inch flatscreen TV with Freeview and built-in DVD player.

Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, electric hob, oven and microwave.

2 bedrooms - 1 double, 1 with full-size bunk beds.

Bathroom with walk-in shower and heated towel rail.

Tiled floors throughout with underfloor heating.

Free Wi-Fi included.

Travel cot and high chair available on request (but please bring your own bedding for the cot).

Towels and bed linen provided.

Welcome pack on arrival for week-long stays.

Outside of the barns is a safe shared enclosed garden as well as wooden garden furniture which can be enjoyed on those warm summer days.

Visiting North Walsham & Exploring Norfolk

For lovers of the outdoors, there are many opportunities nearby for walks and cycle rides. The Weavers' Way footpath is a stone's throw from the barns and there are golf courses and other outdoor leisure activities within easy reach. The beaches of Walcott, Bacton, Happisburgh and Mundesley are a short drive away, as are the popular resorts of Cromer and Sheringham. The Norfolk Broads are also close by, and a little further afield are the historic city of Norwich and the larger seaside resort of Great Yarmouth.

There are many good pubs and restaurants in the local area; the town of North Walsham nearby has a good selection of shops and supermarkets as well as a leisure centre with a swimming pool and gym.

Arthurs Cottage, Edingthorpe, North Walsham, Norfolk (Sleeps 1-6)

Arthurs Cottage is a comfortable self catering holiday cottage that is perfect for a romantic short break or for a family group or friends. This 4 star self catering cottage can sleep up to 6 people and is located in the small village of Edingthorpe, which is just 10 minutes from North Walsham in Norfolk.

Situated within the grounds of Church Farm Barn (a beautiful thatched brick and flint converted Norfolk Barn), Arthur's Cottage is a completely separate, very spacious cottage, comfortably accommodating 6. It contains a very well equipped large kitchen/diner including a dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. There is a very large lounge overlooking the garden, with comfy sofas, TV and stereo Also there is a downstairs cloakroom. All the bedrooms have TVs and plenty of clothes storage. Heating and electricity are included. A high chair and stair gates are available if required.

There will be a free welcome pack of a bottle of wine, fruit, milk, biscuits, tea and coffee waiting for you.

Should you require a breakfast basket for the first morning this can be arranged, at cost. Contact Jenny or Carl with your requirements.

The pretty, enclosed, private south facing front garden with a quiet lane and fields beyond, is a safe haven for small children and an ideal place for adults to relax. Picnic chairs, a table and barbecue are provided.

There is parking for 3 + cars plus additional space for boat/trailer if required. There is also secure storage for cycles.

The cottage has excellent access to the coast, the Broads, Norwich and Cromer on the North Coast. The busy town of North Walsham which is close to the cottage has got shops, restaurants and a leisure centre. There is also Bacton Woods close by which is perfect for woodland walking or mountain biking. The county of Norfolk is a great holiday destination as it is full of many outdoor activities, attractions and history.
