Brook Farm Cottages are a group of self-catering holiday cottages located within the farmyard of Brook Farm on the outskirts of Drayton near Abingdon. Our 3 holiday cottages make an ideal base for a group of family or friends who are looking to visit Oxfordshire or those who want to explore the Cotswolds.

Each of our holiday cottages is fully equipped to make your self-catering holiday or short term stay comfortable and enjoyable. Our country farm shop on-site sells a variety of home-produced country fayre allowing you to enjoy fresh eggs for breakfast, delicious English honey, and more. The holiday cottages were once an old milking parlour and they all still retain much of its original features and traditional English character.

The historic market town of Abingdon, set on the River Thames and once famed for its ancient abbey, is only three miles away. Just 10 miles to the north is the university city of Oxford, with its splendid architecture, pleasant parks, riverside walks and bustling shopping centre. If you enjoy the countryside, the Ridgeway and the famous landmark White Horse Hill are a pleasant drive away. You can be in the Chilterns, the Cotswolds, at LEGOLAND, Windsor Castle or Blenheim Palace in less than an hour.

Burgate Manor Farm Holidays, Fordingbridge, Hampshire, The New Forest

Burgate Manor Farm is a superb family holiday destination situated in central southern England at Fordingbridge in the New Forest. Now home to our self catering cottages and large converted barn it is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Our delightful cottages and granary barn are situated in a farmyard on the edge of the New Forest. The Barn has achieved the maximum 5 star rating from the English Tourism Council, and all of the cottages are 4 star self catering accommodation. Each of the holiday cottages has a private patio and there is a shared garden next to the River Avon with views over unspoilt New Forest water meadows. The barn has its own garden with panoramic views of the New Forest and Avon Valley.

The Granary Barn: Sleeps 16-18. The Granary Barn, which is a magnificent newly converted period barn with original exposed beams and brickwork, presents an ideal holiday location for large groups of friends & extended families. The granary has achieved the maximum 5 stars from the English Tourism Council which ensures an exceptional overall level of quality throughout.

Mallard Cottage: Sleeps 8 people. Mallard has one double bedroom and two twin rooms. There is also a good quality sofa bed in the living area. It has a very large living/dining area with a fully equipped kitchen including an electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave and television. Mallard cottage has 2 bath/shower rooms, electric heating and a patio with table, chairs, umbrella and barbecue.

Swan Cottage: Sleeps 6 people. Swan has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. There is also a good quality double sofa bed in the living area. There is also a large open plan living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen. The cottage has an electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, a microwave and a television. Swan has electric heating and a shower room with basin and WC. There is a patio with table, chairs, umbrella and barbecue.

Heron Cottage: Sleeps 6 people. Heron has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. There is also a good quality double sofa bed in the living area. There is a large open plan living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen. The cottage has an electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave and television. Heron has electric heating and a shower room with basin and WC. There is a patio with table, chairs, umbrella and barbecue. 

A short walk from the cottages is a good pub, a high class restaurant and of course paths through the New Forest. The small town of Fordingbridge is only 1 mile away with lots of shops.
