Badger’s Den is a wonderful traditional Devon thatched cottage, situated on the edge of the unspoilt village of Knowle, just over a mile from the beach at the charming coastal town of Budleigh Salterton. A welcome Devon cream tea is provided on arrival for all week long bookings. We have created a local information guide which has ideas and information on local activities, walks and restaurants.
The holiday cottage has been decorated and furnished to a high standard, providing guests with a place to stay that feels like a home away from home. It can sleep up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms, all of which are made up ready for your arrival.
We also have a downstairs bedroom extension which is accessed from the conservatory. It has been built to the highest standard and designed to accommodate people with mobility impairment. There is plenty of space around the beds, large doorways and en suite wetroom. The beds are two metres long and one is electric. This room has its own flat-screen television with remote control.
The area has something to offer everyone with local beaches, walking the Jurassic coastline, or on the nearby Woodbury Common, birdwatching on the Exe and the Otter Estuary Nature reserve. There are also a number of excellent golf courses, a riding stables, Bicton Gardens with its miniature railway and Crealy Adventure Park.
