The Beacons, Hexham, Northumberland (Sleeps 1-4)


The Beacons is a beautifully decorated first-floor self catering apartment situated in the town of Hexham, Northumberland. The holiday apartment is just a short walk from the centre where you will find all the amenities you would need as well as many attractions and the accommodation is just a 3-minute walk from Hexham Hospital.

Hexham is a busy yet unspoilt market town, famous for the 11th century Abbey, antique shops and racecourse. There is a wide selection of shops, pubs, restaurants, the Queen's Hall Arts Centre and the Border History Museum in The Old Gaol. Standing on the banks of the River Tyne it is an excellent base for those wishing to discover Hadrian’s Wall. 

This World Heritage Site stretches 73 miles across the north of England, where some of the most spectacular scenery can be observed along the way. To the North West lies the beautiful North Tyne Valley and Kielder Water, together providing wonderful recreational facilities for many outdoor sports. Walking, fishing, cycling and excellent golf courses close by.
