Picton Cottage in Sheringham, North Norfolk, provides wonderful self catering accommodation in a charming brick and flint cottage. It is only a ten-minute walk from both the beach and town centre, making it the perfect base from which to explore the local area.
This delightful cottage has been thoughtfully refurbished and is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday. The cosy sitting room has comfortable sofas, TV and DVD player. There is a separate dining room with doors leading to the back garden. The modern kitchen is well equipped with fridge, freezer, cooker, microwave and washing machine.
The cottage sleeps up to six people in three bedrooms, one room with a double bed and en suite WC, a twin bedded room and a smaller room with bunk beds. The bathroom comprises of a WC, washbasin and bath with over a bath shower. Stairs lead up to the first floor from a quiet reading area.
There is ample off-road parking at the front for two cars, and the pretty, enclosed rear garden has a decked area with table and chairs, and a chalet with a ping pong table.
Please be aware that Picton Cottage is well over one hundred years old and has the low doorways and steep narrow staircase associated with properties of this age.
Sheringham is a delightful little town, with many traditional seaside attractions and amusements and a charming main street full of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs, not forgetting the museum, ‘The Mo’, and all within a ten-minute walk of Picton Cottage.
