Our lovely stone holiday cottage has been tastefully converted from a Grade II Listed building to offer modern accommodation. The cottage sleeps 4 people and is well-equipped throughout. We also provide a welcome pack.
Inside there is a well-equipped kitchen/diner with a range of appliances for home-cooking: electric cooker, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Unwind in the cosy sitting room that comes with a toasty wood burner and 32’’ Freeview TV. Upstairs there is a double and twin room.
Outside there is a split level patio with furniture for al fresco dining when the sun is shining. You can soak away your troubles in the hot tub.
Visiting Byers Green & Exploring Durham
Old Hall Cottages provides its own restaurant in the village called Thomas Wright House. It serves food every day. Drinks can be enjoyed 5 minutes away at Byers Green Club.
The area is ideal for walking and fishing. Country walks are available straight from the front door. Fishing can be enjoyed on the River Wear. There is a golf course 10 minutes away.
