Levisham Station House offers a unique heritage holiday experience in the heart of the North York Moors National Park. Steam trains stop right outside the front gate, while period furnishings and features add to pre-war nostalgia.
Accommodation
Our family home has been lovingly restored to provide high quality accommodation with all you need for a cosy and comfortable getaway.
Downstairs the sitting room and former ticket office provide comfy seating for enjoying train-spotting, quiet reading, bird-watching, playing 78s on the gramophone, sitting by the woodburner and watching TV. The traditional kitchen is well equipped with both vintage kitchenware and modern appliances.
Upstairs comprises a double en-suite (with optional pull-out child’s bed) and two twin bedrooms, all with fabulous views of the station and trains. The bathroom has a traditional suite and electric shower. An additional shower room and WC (in the private bedsit downstairs) is available at a small extra charge.
The large front garden alongside the railway is fenced for dogs, and the private back garden is gravelled for parking.
