This self catering house has an open plan living/kitchen/dining/snug area. The huge floor-to-ceiling windows look out in different directions - to the South is the village of Scarista and the valley revealing the islands in the Sound of Harris, to the West is the vast and beautiful Scarista beach and the majestic Toe Head, while to the North West is Taransay island and the stunning north Harris hills. The sunsets are visible from the house during most of the year, with the light creating constant and vivid colour changes in the sea and sky. The colours of the sea from Oran na Mara have to be seen to be believed!

Visiting Scarista & Exploring the Western Isles:
This self catering property directly overlooks the spectacular 2 mile curved bay of Scarista beach with the iconic Toe Head (Chaipaval) peninsula as the backdrop, with stunning sunsets and colours that cannot be adequately described.
There is an abundance of things to do on the island including walking, cycling, golfing, fishing, sailing, birdwatching and watersports. Alternatively you can visit a range of attractions such as Callanish Standing Stones, St Clement's Chuch, Scarp and Clisham to name but a few.
