Accommodation:
We have 4 wonderful apartments to choose from, all perfect for families or groups. The apartments can be combined for larger groups, and we also have a choice of four grand function rooms and large private gardens for parties, events, meetings or retreats.
The Cook’s Suite:
This wonderful suite is housed in the old Victorian kitchens, pantry and coal store. The apartment is stylishly furnished and features a wonderful open kitchen/dining/lounge area to suit all your needs. The kitchen comes with a range cooker in the Victorian fireplace and the living area has a TV with Roku streaming.
Two attractive bedrooms are available, a large master room with a lavish four-poster bed and a second room which can be made as two singles or a superking. Outside there is a private courtyard with outdoor furniture and a BBQ for al fresco dining.
Housekeeper’s Suite:
Based in the Old Victorian service wing, this gorgeous apartment is a brilliant entertaining space, great for a family special celebration. Inside is a light-filled open-plan kitchen/dining room and a lounge with a fireplace. The living area has a TV with Roku streaming and the kitchen is well-equipped with a range cooker.
A large master en suite bedrooms and a second master en suite bedroom are available. Outside there is a private decking seating area and BBQ, offering a great spot for a coffee in the morning sun.
Bakehouse Studio:
Our wonderful studio was once the bakery and now offers luxurious accommodation. The original bread oven remains in the kitchen and lovely features are found throughout. Inside there is a small seating and dining area with a smart TV, an ensuite wet room shower room and a kitchen with a breakfast bar. The bedroom comes with a come king-size bed for a restful night's sleep. Outside there is a private decking area and a BBQ, offering a lovely spot for a glass of bubbly.
The Buck Suite:
This gorgeous apartment is in an area that used to be the home of the Matron at Grenville College. The stylish apartment is lovely and bright, offering a large master room with a king-size sleigh bed and a second room with a single and double bed. There are en suite bathrooms and a separate WC.
A delightful open-plan kitchen comes with a large breakfast bar and the living area has a wood burner for those chilly days. Entertainment facilities include a TV with Roku streaming.
Visiting Bideford & Exploring Devon:
The charming town of Bideford is nestled on the west bank of the River Torridge. The town has a lovely town centre and is near the Tarka Trail and not far from the lovely Exmoor National Park. Children will love The BIG Sheep, an amusement park with rides and live shows. Great attractions to visit include:
