The house is a 2-minute walk from The Stray and a 15 minutes walk from Christchurch. The local shops on Kings Road are reached either via Grove Road or Chatsworth Place (across Skipton Road) by turning right out of Regent Grove and crossing at the traffic lights - Kings Road is opposite the Esso filling station and a local CoOp. You also have a One-Stop Shop by turning left onto Skipton Road and a variety of other shops as you walk towards Christchurch and the Yorkshire Showground. Best access is by turning right at the roundabout and left into Oakland’s Drive- the entrance is at the bottom of Oatlands Drive ( only accessible to pedestrians except during The Great Yorkshire Show)
Access to Harrogate Conference/International Centre/Turkish Baths - walk to Skipton Road, cross at the pedestrian crossing and walk down Dragon Road- passing Asda on your way- at the roundabout continue straight ahead- across the road and after a few yards you see a tunnel under the railway - go through the tunnel and continue down the hill- Conference centre is at the bottom. Google says 12 minutes.
There are over 250 bars restaurants and pubs in Harrogate for you to choose from and new ones are open all the time! There are walks from your front door.
