Lakeside Log Cabins are situated just outside of Great Oxendon and close to Market Harborough in Leicestershire. We have two cabins to rent, Kingfish & Barn Owl. Guests can wake up to a delicious freshly cooked breakfast in our Waterloo Tearoom. We also serve daily homemade lunches, hot snacks, and a traditional roast on Sunday, along with our usual homemade treats to make your mouth water.
These beautiful log cabins have an inviting contemporary décor and a balcony area for you to enjoy alfresco dining while admiring the views of Waterloo Lake and the surrounding countryside.
Both cabins are self contained with utilities included, and all bedding and towels provided; enabling you to enjoy a home away from home experience. Each cabin can accommodate 3-4 people and has 2 bedrooms (a double/twin room and adult bunk room).
We have purpose-built fishing lakes on-site, each with its own merits. There is direct access to the Brampton Valley Way cycle track from our site, ideal for romantic walks, family fun and so much more. The historic town of Market Harborough is within 25 minutes walking distance with such a range of activities and sites to visit. We are nestled between Northamptonshire and Leicestershire countryside, off the A508. Far from the hustle and bustle of the roads and the city, your perfect local getaway.
