Riverside Cottage and Lydia's River Cottage offers luxurious self-catering accommodation on the banks of the River Greta in a quiet country location. We are a only 10 minutes flat walk by the river to Keswick town centre and the bus stop is only 50 yards from the door.
Lydia’s River Cottage - Sleeps 4. This charming cottage dates from the 1800s and now offers high-quality accommodation, ideal for an unforgettable getaway. Outside there is a spacious riverside patio above the river, the perfect spot for a morning coffee whilst admiring the view. Upstairs there are two bedrooms: a double with river views and a twin with views over the rooftops to Walla Crag.
Riverside Cottage – Sleeps 5. This beautiful cottage was built in 1903 and offers stunning views over the river from the private patio. Garden furniture is also provided, great for al fresco dining whilst savouring your surroundings. Three comfortable bedrooms are available: a double, twin and single room. The double and twin both enjoy river views and the single looks over the rooftops to Wall Crag.
Keswick has a reputation for being the tourist centre of the Northern Lakes, yet it still retains the old-world charm of a Lakeland market town, with its many speciality shops, galleries, restaurants and pubs to suit all tastes and ages. It nestles on the shores of Derwentwater overlooked by the impressive peaks of Skiddaw, Latrigg and Helvellyn, a beautiful base from which to explore the many delights of the Lake District and beyond.
