The centre of Wigtown is less than 2 miles from our accommodation. This allows guests to enjoy all the benefits of town life, whilst being able to rest at the end of the day in the countryside. The town is home to the annual Wigtown Book Festival and has a range of independent book shops.
Seven miles from Wigtown is Newton Stewart. This market town is on the banks of the River Cree and is surrounded by beautiful Galloway Hills. It is popular with walkers and mountain bikers, due to its proximity to Galloway Forest Park.
