The Bullpen sleeps 2 & is adjacent to the Hayloft and has a sunny aspect looking south-west across the meadows and orchards. The slick kitchen adjoins the open plan vaulted living area. The dining area is perfect for a romantic meal, where you can be serenaded from the balcony. A sculptured stone spiral staircase leads you from the living area to a glass balconied vaulted sleeping platform with an en-suite bathroom. A welcome hamper, towels, robes and luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linen all add to the comfort of your stay.
The Great Barn sleeps 6 & stands central to the courtyard facing south, making the most of natural daylight and the timeless rural outlook. The spacious entrance hall and living area is adjoined by two en-suite bedrooms secretly lit by the original arrow-slit windows. From the entrance hall ascend the stone spiral staircase leading to the dramatic split-level, open-plan living area and a third double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Watch the clouds, stargaze through the clerestory glazed windows or chat whilst preparing the perfect meal in the well-equipped kitchen. The Granary sleeps 8 & completes the courtyard whilst overlooking the stream and meadows. Large glazed windows make the most of the sunny aspect. The barn benefits from an airy double-height living space with a log burning stove where your party can enjoy each other’s company. There is a separate fully appointed kitchen and dining area with French doors leading into a secluded garden leading down to the stream. Here you can cook, relax and dine together. Alternatively, host your own country house party. There are three double bedrooms and a twin-bedded room. Two of the double bedrooms are at ground level, one of which is en-suite whilst the other has a wet room suitable for people with limited mobility. They have a heated limestone-clad pool contained within an oak framed building with walls of glass, guaranteeing open panoramic views across the ridgeline. The fully heated indoor pool is available for use by guests, free of charge – we even give you some dressing gowns.
