The Cottage - Sleeps 2
Push open the Cottage garden gate and brush past the overhanging clematis on your way to the conservatory door, the entrance to your hideaway. The sunny conservatory serves as your dining room and leads to an open plan lounge and kitchen with shower room off and stairs up to the double bedroom with beautiful views. Fully heated in winter and lots of windows for the hot summers - Suffolk is the UK’s sunshine coast after all!
Outside is your sunken patio with furniture and steps up into your mature private garden. There’s plenty of parking a few metres away from your cottage. Cots are available for your little ones. A well-behaved dog is welcome.
Lofthouse - Sleeps 4
Opposite the main house is the entrance to the tastefully renovated stables block, the Lofthouse. You’ll pass the private garden with patio area and furniture on your way to the entrance to your holiday oasis. Open the front door to the kitchen and dining area with bathroom off. A spiral staircase leads to the first floor where there is a double bedroom to the right, a large open plan living space to the left with twin bedroom off that. An additional single bed can be set up in both bedrooms.
Fully heated in winter with lots of windows for hot summers it’s very comfortable any time of the year - after all Suffolk is the UK’s sunshine coast! Cots are available for your little ones. A well-behaved dog is welcome.
Grocery and farm shops, pubs and restaurants, post office and off-license are all within 1 and a 1/2 mile. Poplar Hall is surrounded by beautiful countryside with quiet sandy beaches only two miles away and the beautiful English seaside town of Southwold just over three miles away. Southwold’s sand and pebble beach with colourful beach huts is a very popular local attraction.
We’re also a short drive away from Walberswick where you can recapture childhood memories of crabbing or create new ones for the next generation. Walberswick also has a lovely sandy beach for building castles or bathing in the sunshine.
