The Barn – Sleeps 6
This wonderful property is in the grounds of Carr Mount Estate and has disabled access for wheelchair users. The open plan lounge/diner/kitchen area is a lovely space to relax and socialise in. The sitting area comes with 2 large comfy leather sofas, an HD Freeview TV, DVD player and iPod dock. A Jotul wood burning stove and underfloor heating will keep you toasty in the winter months. A well-equipped kitchen comes with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric range with an induction hob, microwave and plenty of high-quality crockery and cutlery. A dining table seats up to 6 people and patio doors open onto a private patio and lawn. The outdoor area is south facing, ideal for a coffee in the morning sun.
Three bedrooms are available: a downstairs twin room which offers disabled access, a first-floor master room with en suite facilities and an upstairs twin room. A downstairs wet room comes with a WC, shower and hand basin.
The Cottage - Sleeps 4
This charming cottage comes with an open plan kitchen/diner with a dining table for up to 4 people. Patio doors open onto the private patio with seating and a lawn. A well-equipped kitchen comes with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, an electric range with induction hob, microwave and plenty of high-quality crockery and cutlery. The relaxing lounge comes with a 2-seater leather sofa, large leather chair, tub chair, HD Freeview TV, DVD player and iPod dock. A lovely place to relax after a busy day exploring the local area.
Two bedrooms are available on the first floor. The master bedroom comes with a luxurious 5ft bed and modern en suite facilities. A twin room and first-floor bathroom with a white suite and separate walk-in shower are also available.
The Byre – Sleeps 2
Our lovely property is ideal for a romantic getaway. The open plan lounge/diner/kitchen enjoys glorious views across the fields of Carr Mount Estate through concertina sliding doors. The doors open onto a delightful balcony area with outdoor seating. A lovely spot for al fresco dining. The lounge area comes with two comfy large swivel chairs, and HD Freeview TV, DVD player and iPod dock. The kitchen and dining area are equipped to the same high standards as the other properties. A master bedroom is on the ground floor and comes with en suite facilities.
A variety of great attractions are in Whitby, including the Captain Cook Memorial Museum, Victorian Jet Works, Dracula Experience, Pannett Park Art Gallery, Whitby Museum and an array of unique shops offering local crafts, Whitby jet jewellery, maritime memorabilia and antiques. Attractions further afield include Fountains Abbey, National Trust Brimham Rocks, Malham Cove, Castle Howard & Bolton Priory.
