South Barn at Wangford Farm, Wangford, Southwold, Suffolk (Sleeps 1-4)

South Barn, a beautifully appointed holiday cottage, is set in a stunning area of Suffolk. Located between the pretty village of Wangford and the Edwardian seaside town of Southwold. It’s ideally placed for Southwold (about 3 mins) and the A12 (about 2 mins), providing easy access to the heritage coast. Southwold, with its pier, beaches, harbour, shops and restaurants, is an ideal choice for holidays all year round. The Heritage Coast has something for all the family; an abundance of wildlife reserves, stately homes, theme parks, animal parks and of course, the Broads.

Great care and attention have been paid to every aspect of this holiday home. South Barn caters for 4 persons in 2 double bedrooms, 1 with en-suite. There is also a full family bathroom. Its open private garden is great for families, whilst also catering for couples looking for the ideal peaceful relaxing holiday cottage location.

When entering the house, you are welcomed by a sunny and bright open plan living area with original oak beams and polished wooden floors. This room is a lovely space for all the family to relax at any time of day. There is a comfortable seating area with HD digital TV and DVD player, dining area and well-equipped kitchen. The kitchen is well designed and has plenty of equipment for you to cook up a storm!

Both bedrooms are spacious, the master having an en-suite. Both have fully vaulted and beamed ceilings with views over fields and woodlands. Sealey mattresses help provide the best night's sleep whilst blackout blinds keep the sunlight away from pleasant dreams.

Outside is an enclosed private garden and garden furniture. This provides a space where children can play, a place to relax or dine alfresco.

Wangford is a lovely village and a great base for those who want to enjoy the best of both coast and country. The village itself has an illustrious past and is home to many fine buildings within the village and high street. There are a variety of places to eat and drink in the village, Southwold and the surrounding area, so you will not be short of choice.

On those days when you want to travel and explore the area, you will find that Suffolk has many attractions, covering all interests. This includes Snape Maltings, Africa Alive, Pleasurewood Hills, Easton Farm Park, Redwings Horse Sanctuary, National Trust houses and gardens and more.
