Holme Ground Cottage enjoys the perfect setting in a secluded and tranquil location, nestled between Coniston and Little Langdale. We are a great base for beautiful walking routes and high and low-level walks can be enjoyed straight from the door.
The comfortably furnished living room comes with open fire (free coal supplied/ included) and has access to the patio and garden.
Our kitchen has been commended by Visit England for its original slate floor, quality crockery and cookware, as well as the induction hob and pans. A washing machine and tumble dryer are provided.
Three bedrooms are available: 1 king, 1 double and 1 bedroom with bunk beds. All beds are made up for your arrival. Towels are supplied. A cot and highchair are provided.
A magical setting in all seasons with walks in all directions from the door. A short ramble to the top of Holme Fell, past the tarn, affords an amazing view the length of Coniston Water. Away from it all yet only 3 miles from facilities in Coniston. The area is a haven for wildlife. Over 37 species of bird have been spotted in the garden, along with red squirrels, deer, rabbits and, of course, sheep. Holme Ground Cottage makes a perfect base for a Lakeland stay.
