Heathcliff Cottage offers award winning self catering accommodation in Colne, Lancashire. Situated in a peaceful setting, we are ideal for an idyllic break.
Our superb cottage is beautifully furnished and sleeps up to 4 people with the use of an additional pull out guest bed.
This 19th Century stone built cottage comes with gorgeous exposed beams and an inglenook fireplace. The country-style gas stove will keep you warm and toasty in the winter. Facilities include an LCD TV with Freeview and a DVD player. You can also unwind in the light and bright conservatory which overlooks the pretty garden.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms: a double and a twin room. The beds come with memory foam toppers and quality crisp cotton bed linen. Both rooms share a shower room. If you have young children please note that the stone stairs are uneven and quite steep.
A short walk along the riverside will take you to Ball Grove Lake and Nature Reserve. You can also enjoy the Pendle Way and lots of scenic cycle routes are nearby. In Colne there is the wonderful Boundary Mill Stores, one of the North’s biggest stores of its type. There are also a number of great eateries and lots of excellent attractions are in the local area.
