Much care and attention has been paid when decorating and furnishing this cottage, ensuring those who stay have an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Our cottage comprises of:

Spacious lounge flat screen TV and gas-flame fire.

Farmhouse style kitchen/diner.

Cloakroom with WC.

Washing machine and dishwasher.

South-westerly garden with patio area – perfect for alfresco dining.

Master bedroom with double bed.

A lovely children’s play area for under 10’s overlooking the countryside towards West Bay is a few metres from the house.

Visiting West Bay & Exploring Dorset

Ideally situated in a quiet area just a short distance from West Bay’s picturesque harbour and glorious coastline and beaches, the self catering accommodation is also only a 20 minute walk to the vibrant historic market town of Bridport.

West Bay is the gateway to the Jurassic Coast. It lies just to the south of the historic market town of Bridport, and at the western end of Chesil Beach. The area forms part of Dorset’s World Heritage Site within Lyme Bay. The unique sandstone East Cliff exposes 180 million years of history. West Bay is a wonderful location for family holidays, coastal and countryside walks, fishing/angling, boat trips out to sea, river boating, Golf at the nearby West Dorset & Bridport Golf-course and so much more.

Dorset Beach House is a thatched cottage providing high-quality self-catering accommodation. It is located in a beautiful setting on Chesil Beach at West Bay. Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty it is ideally placed for visiting Bridport and Lyme Regis.

The house has 7 bedrooms in total, 2 of which are located in a self-contained annexe.

On the ground floor is the living room which has a 32" flat-screen TV & DVD player. There is also a boot room and a sunroom. The basement floor has a fully equipped kitchen and dining room.

The annexe has a small double, twin and kitchenette.

West Bay has a few shops and good pubs and restaurants. Just 2 miles away is Bridport which has lots of shops and a popular market.

This entire area of West Dorset is designated as being of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is ideal for long walks. Our holiday home lies on the Jurassic Coast, which is a World Heritage Site.
