The tastefully furnished holiday home is an old Stromness cottage on the outside and an architect-designed studio apartment on the inside and is perfect for a break for a single person or a couple.
A few steps lead to a secluded and paved garden seating area with recycled flagstones, perfect for daytime picnicking or lazy Summer day. BBQ equipment is available on request.
The Shed up the Lane is secluded but close to the harbour, shops and galleries, hotels and restaurants. Stromness Museum is a ten-minute walk away and the Pier Arts Centre is five minutes north along the main street. The golf course and fine circular walks are easily accessed from central Stromness. There are also many lovely walks to enjoy as well as sailing and birdwatching.
