Part of an old steading, it has been meticulously rebuilt with the original whin stone, traditional slate roof, and interiors finished in beautiful hardwood oak. On the first floor, you'll find two en suite bedrooms, one a twin room and the other a double room with captivating south-facing views over the Firth of Forth and the surrounding countryside. Both bedrooms are equipped with built-in wardrobes featuring mirror sliding doors, and the accommodation comfortably sleeps four adults.
The sitting room is spacious and inviting, with a large bay window that overlooks the Forth to the south. Furnished with a sumptuous leather six-piece suite, the two-seater sofa opens into a bed that can accommodate two extra adults. An electric fire and a wide-screen digital TV enhance your relaxation. On the ground floor, you'll discover a well-appointed bathroom with a power shower.
The kitchen is thoughtfully designed with oak units, and it features integrated appliances, including a dishwasher, fridge, and freezer. Leading from the kitchen is a convenient utility room equipped with a sink, storage cupboards, washing machine, tumble dryer, and an ironing board.
The house is equipped with double-glazing and oil central heating throughout for your comfort. Private parking and a garden area are available for your convenience, and with the owners living nearby, you can expect prompt assistance for any requests.
What's included? All heating and electricity are included in the price, and bed linen and towels are provided. A cot and high chair are available on request.
The Old Barn Cottage is available for rental year-round, with rental periods from Saturday to Saturday. Arrival is after 4 pm, unless by special request, and departure is by 10 am. Short breaks are also an option with a minimum stay of three nights. Please note that smoking and pets are not allowed.
