Family ran (for 22 years), Holmpark Holiday Cottages offer superb self-catering off the River Cree which separates Minnigaff and Newton Stewart. Our 6 cottages are in a private yard with a private communal garden on a small ex stock farm. Perfect for a peaceful and relaxing getaway.
Our 4 purpose built original cottages are identical and affordability, comfort and cleanliness are our priorities. No5 (Gate Cottage) is the original Farm Cottage refurbished to a high standard. No 6 (River Cottage) is a compact (not cramped!) cottage with one twin bedroom, shower room, dining kitchen and living room overlooking the River Cree.
There are superb off and on-road biking available in the area, we can store your bikes. This area is also a paradise for nature lovers, with lots of gorgeous scenery to enjoy. The area is great for sea, coarse and salmon fishermen, whilst 7 golf courses are within a 25-minute drive. The area is also great for bird watchers and walkers. Galloway Forest Park, sub-tropical gardens, castles and historic sites are all within easy reach.
