Carpenters Cottage, situated within a thoughtfully converted 18th century flour mill complex in Derbyshire, provides an inviting self-catering holiday experience for up to five guests. Accredited with a four-star rating by the Visit England Tourist Board, it offers easy access to the attractions of the Peak District National Park and is conveniently located within walking distance along the Derwent River to Matlock town.

The cottage features a spacious lounge/diner adorned with a table for eight, two settees, and an electric coal effect fire that serves as a focal point. Entertainment options include a TV, Netflix, DVD player, and a selection of pre-recorded DVDs. Windows at both the front and rear of the lounge/diner and French doors opening onto a balconied deck enhance the living space. Steps from the deck lead down to a sunny, south-facing garden enclosed by a dry stone wall, complete with a BBQ for outdoor dining.

Upstairs, three bedrooms await guests. The main bedroom offers flexibility with two single beds that can be arranged as a large double bed as needed. It includes an en suite with an electric shower cubicle, hand basin, and toilet, as well as ample storage space provided by a full-size wardrobe, chest of drawers, and bedside tables. A south-facing window frames picturesque views of the Lumsdale valley. The second bedroom boasts a full-size double bed with accessible sides, along with a wardrobe, set of drawers, bedside tables, and a mirror. Bedroom 3 features a full-size single bed, a bedside table, wardrobe space, and a mirror.

Outside, the cottage's compact garden and decking area offer a tranquil retreat with the convenience of a BBQ for al fresco meals. Two designated tandem parking spaces are available behind the garden wall within the Mill's private off-road car park.
