Hyde Farm Cottages are superbly appointed stone-built country cottages set on a working farm at Olney. They are in glorious rolling Buckinghamshire countryside, with lovely open views. Hyde Farm is a working 500+ acre mixed farm, growing cereal crops such as barley, as well as home to a flock of sheep. The beautiful cottages provide a perfectly stress-free environment.
Although they vary slightly, each holiday cottage has its own garden with patio area and plenty of off-road parking and is completely self-contained with no shared facilities.
The lounges are very comfortable with lovely open views, the country-style kitchens are very well-equipped & there are separate ground floor utility rooms & WCs.
Each cottage has two upstairs bedrooms, one with a super king-size bed which can be split into 2 singles, and the second is a comfortable twin room.
Children are welcome but there is no designated play area.
The small market town of Olney is 1.5 miles away and is one of the most attractive towns in the county. It is renowned for its exceptional conservation area which contains buildings primarily constructed from the local limestone. The town itself has a wealth of attractions for tourists, including antique shops, places of historical interest, numerous pubs and eating establishments. The town centres around the market place and a busy general market is held every Thursday and a farmer’s market on the first Sunday of each month.
