Kale Pot Cottage is just 10 miles from the bustling market town of Pickering. It is convenient for moors and coast – and only 45 minutes from the historic city of York. Situated right in the heart of the North York Moors National Park, badgers, foxes and roe deer are regularly seen – owls and woodpeckers heard.
For days out there is a wealth of attractions within easy reach – historic houses include Castle Howard and Nunnington Hall. Whitby with its Captain Cook connections (and superb fish and chips) is less than half an hour away – and bustling Scarborough (a favourite with kids of all ages) is a few minutes more.
