Northumberland is an ideal destination for a holiday in the British Isles. It is the least densely populated county in England and its National Park is the most remote and unspoilt of all the English National Parks. Northumberland has more castles open to the public than any other English county and one of its major landmarks, Hadrian's Wall, is the largest world heritage site in Britain. Just a few yards from us in the village is a lovely pub/eatery.
