Cobweb Cottage offers charming self-catering accommodation in the quaint market town of Settle. Nestled within a tranquil conservation area in North Yorkshire, we are close to the Ribble Way and the perfect base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
Our wonderful cottage dates from the 18th Century and is brimming with a rich history. The original sign, “Licensed Dealer of Tea and Coffee”, dates from 1780, offering a glimpse of its former past.
This delightful cottage comes with a cosy sitting room which is perfect for relaxing after a day roaming the countryside. Lovely features included an exposed stone fireplace with a traditional wood-burning stove and you can catch your favourite show on the smart TV. Rustle up some delicious food in the well-equipped kitchen which has a cooker, dishwasher, utensil and crockery. Savour some tasty meals around the dining table.
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin and 1 large single/small double. The house bathroom comes with a shower over the bath and downstairs there is a modern shower room. Both bathrooms include a heated towel rail and all bed linen and towels are included.
Outside there is a secluded patio with garden furniture and a small BBQ for al fresco dining over a few glasses of wine.
We are in a fantastic position for discovering all that the area has to offer. Only a 1-minute walk away is the market square, home to great cafes, interesting shops and bustling pubs. You can visit the Grade II Listed Victorian Music Hall which showcases a variety of eclectic events. The cottage is ideally located for exploring the Three Peaks of Penyghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, whilst the historic town of Skipton is accessible by car.
