Leave your wellington boots in the small wooden porch and open the front door to a warm, wooden beamed living room, complete with a beautiful old Rayburn. In addition to the living room, the ground floor in the thatch has a small but well-equipped kitchen, a cosy dining room and a twin bedroom which sits up a few steps, at the Northern end of the cottage. Climb the narrow staircase and you will find, the master double room, a single room and the bathroom. Brambly Thatch is situated on a quiet farm track and looks out on the garden, a beautiful old English Oak Tree with farm fields and trees beyond.

Brambly Thatch is a picture book holiday cottage. It is a 400-year-old thatched farm cottage. Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the southern end of the Chiltern Hills. An ideal base for exploring Southern England - Stonehenge, Bath, Oxford, Stratford, Windsor, London etc. Wildlife includes red kites, buzzards, kestrels, sparrowhawks, deer, badgers, foxes etc. Good pubs and eating places locally.
