The 3 stunning wooden lodges are a haven for outdoor lovers, set in a countryside location on top of the Mendip Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with an an array of wildlife. Imagine waking up to the church bells ringing and birdsong, or falling asleep to the gentle sound of the owls hooting in the evening with darts darting around at dusk, a truly authentic countryside experience.
All of the lodges are beautifully hand-crafted to offer high-quality accommodation. Each lodge sleeps up to 4 adults and 1 baby (under 2), with in a king and twin bedroom. Cook up as storm in the well-equipped kitchen/dining area or unwind in the cosy lounge which has a wall-mounted smart TV. Double glass doors offer countryside views. A modern bathroom includes a shower over the bath.
Each lodge has a decked balcony with a wooden bench on the front terrace, the perfect spot for a morning coffee whilst savouring the great outdoors. There is also a small rear sun patio including a BBQ platform and pretty lawned grounds, plus your own picnic table and benches for al fresco dining.
The lodges are in a fantastic position for discovering all that the area has to offer. Visit the famous cities of Bath and Wells, the bustling city of Bristol or the quirky town of Glastonbury. Within an easy drive are a range of pubs that serve great food, including The Talbot in Mells, Archangel in Frome and The Mendip Inn near Oakhill. Just a short stroll away is the village pub, The Bell Inn, great for a Somerset cider and bite to eat.
